Wil Lutz made a 58-yard field goal as time expired to lift New Orleans Saints to a victory over the Houston Texans.
A 37-yard touchdown pass drove to Saints receiver Kenny Stills with 37 seconds left, capping a 75-yard driveway that set the Texans after they started their final possession down with 50 minutes left by six.
However there was an 11-yarder into Michael Thomas and yet another pass yards in sequence, only enough time Saints quarterback Drew Brees, who capped a two-touchdown performance by completing a pass to Ted Ginn Jr.
That allowed New Orleans to rescue final timeout until two seconds remained and set up the career-long kick of Lutz.
The 40-year-old Brees completed 32 of 43 moves. He threw one interception deep in Houston land but did enough to compensate for it.
Brees seemed to have all but sealed it when he seen Ginn down field on third and two and connected to the Houston 44 to get a profit at the warning.
Alvin Kamara, that had 169 yards from scrimmage, followed by the 11-yard run, before a 47-yarder was transformed by Lutz, along with the Saints ran the clock down to 55 seconds.
Watson finished 20 of 30 passes for 268 yards and three touchdowns, two of these to DeAndre Hopkins, and conducted for a 21-yard dent on a playwith.
