In case you have not discovered, the Rugby World Cup is in Asia for the first time.
Taking place in Japan, the championship feels different to its predecessors and foreign and Japanese fans have been revelling in it.
There are many things to love out a few which come as a welcome surprise and west, some of which have been expected.
But after a little discussion, the BBC Sport team in Japan have depended on what they love most.
BBC rugby union correspondent Chris Jones
You never quite know what you are going to get in Japan. It is never dull; and enjoyable.
As an instance, the weather appears impossible to forecast – any day may be a combination of torrential storms or sun – although at breakfast one needs to be prepared to eat anything out of beef to fish shellfish to donuts and cakes.
And because of this polite and reserved people, the Japanese also absolutely enjoy letting down their hair by becoming stuck in a karaoke booth – often to drink and great food.
BBC chief sports writer Tom Fordyce
Each World Cup needs a result from the group stages that keeps you in viewing other matches that you may otherwise assume to be dead certs and shakes up the established order that messes.
In 2007, youd Fiji beating against Wales. In 2011, you and you had Tonga upsetting France and Japan victory over South Africa, respectively.
This World Cup is currently bringing is not just an but – possibly – a narrative that may kick on and on. Must hosts Japan make it through to the knock-out phases for the very first time in their history, it could be notable to the championship that is wider although catastrophic for Scotland.
Other countries have struggled, which should be an issue for World Rugby. To have the host nation in the eight would cover up a variety of these issues that are wider.
BBC Radio 5 Live rugby union producer Louise Gwilliam
The Japanese lovers with this World Cups enthusiasm has been like no other championship Ive ever been to.
Not merely do they purchase the top of every team they move and see (imagine countless Japanese fans in complete Namibia apparel, backpack and ) that they have also learnt the words to every national anthem and sing them together with as much pride as ardent Argentines, yelling Frenchmen and women and multi-faceted South Africans.
Former England fly-half and BBC Radio 5 Live pundit Paul Grayson
Never have so few words in a native language elicited such a hot response.
I understand how to mention about six things in Western covering a variety of subjects from hello to respectful and how to excuse me.
The response to such attempts is absolute pleasure from the recipient and then they point at stuff and politely talk to you in Western after.
You feel overseas all at precisely exactly the exact identical time and welcomed. Loud English gets you nowhere and that as it should be.
BBC Sport journalist Becky Grey
Japanese culture has a lot to teach us about respect. Trains are plastered with signs reminding travelers to not use their telephones on-board and on match days there are announcements in English telling fans to notcause any discomfort for their fellow passengers.
The pitch has been interpreted onto by the high value . When thanking a person, as is the Japanese custom teams have stayed out to the area to go around and bow to every facet of the stadium.
And there has been plenty of admiration between groups behind the scenes. After thrashing them 63-0, Canada was encouraged by reigning champions New Zealand to get a couple of beers that were post-match into their dressing room.
BBC Radio 5 Live union producer Louise Gwilliam
The Japanese love a guideline, and there is absolutely no deviating from them, however, it creates life from Japan really pleasant and simple.
Everybody waits on roads with no-one, even at the crossings for the man around. There are signs painted on the ground of the place to queue on rail platforms and no-one ever pushes in.
Trains are always on time, and if over a second late you get a general apology. Lastly, shoes must be taken off indoors, no shoes are permitted in fitness centers and caps must be worn by everyone in the swimming pools.
BBC Radio 5 Live commentator Gareth Lewis
My favourite moment so much was being presented using a jar of marmite at a little bar-cum-restaurant in Tokyo. We had surfaced there to watch the England v USA match and had chosen a location.
After everybody had had a go at their Language, the bar owner was so eager to have guests he made a bit of marmite from beneath the counter and left us pose for pictures with it.
And as for your rugby… I am not counting my chickens or making any predictions, but to watch Wales beat Australia at a World Cup for the very first time in 32 years at last – was pretty specific.
I am not quiet when I see games and tend to dwell kick, every pass and moment of unbearable tension. To allow out that out from commentating on the game itself was an experience. Ive just about abandoned a second level to get up to in case Wales proceed and do something specific.
