Week 3 of this 2019 NFL preseason comes to an end on Sunday night using a nationally televised game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and favored Tennessee Titans at Nashville.

We are all used to watching NFL action on Sundays, correct? Well one Sunday game in Week 3 and itll be the last afternoon of Sunday NFL until Week 1 of the regular season. Thats because all groups play Thursday at Week 4. The Pittsburgh Steelers go to the Tennessee Titans to close 3.
Both just missed the playoffs and ended final season. The Titans would have claimed a Wild-Card spot if theyd won Week 17 at home vs. Indianapolis, but the Colts were certainly superior and rolled into a 33-17 victory. Beginning Titans QB Marcus Mariota missed the game hurt and Blaine Gabbert was awful in his location.
Pittsburgh had a Baltimore home loss to Cleveland and a Week 17 win over Cincinnati to shoot the AFC North. Pittsburgh did its job with a 16-13 victory — with no star receiver Antonio Brown in his final act of defiance using all the franchise. However, the Ravens and a 26-24 win over the Browns did not cooperate.
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin is a strong 30-22 in his preseason career and 2-0 this season despite not playing starting QB Ben Roethlisberger. The Steelers played with their first two edging Tampa Bay 30-28 in Week 1 and then beating Kansas City 17-7 final week. Transferring by the background of Tomlin, Big Ben ought to play with a bit on Sunday. Mason Rudolph and joshua Dobbs are competing together with covering the Steelers believing Rudolph is currently leading.
Titans coach Mike Vrabel is 1-1 this year — Tennessee has yet to win a home exhibition game. The Titans lost 22-17 in the home to New England but led all the match and then were first Week 1 winners in Philadelphia 27-10. It was won by A TD pass for the Pats. Would although the Titans crime along with mariota has only played four series so far for Vrabel the first half of the one.

The Titans offense isnt the same with Walker, the best tight end in franchise history. Meanwhile, Mariotas copy Ryan Tannehill was fantastic this preseason with a 130.8 passer rating, completing 19 of 27 for 214 yards. Some think he can slip the job out of Mariota at some stage this year.
These teams played at the 2018 preseason, also. The Steelers won 16-6. Big Ben, making his preseason debut of18, was 11-for-18 for 114 yards and a touchdown in three string. Mariota did not play with a ton and had been. He missed for what could have been a very long touchdown on Tennessees starting drive, wide-open Corey Davis.
Well take the Titans here simply as I am sure theyd like to finish that home preseason losing streak.
