Ten WWE names are on Sunday night but who will go home with the gold? Sam Petitt requires a look…
Seth Rollins (c) v Braun Strowman (Universal Championship)
You can not help but sense for Braun. He’s waited for his second for a few decades now and it is tough to comprehend how he has held nothing but the tag-team titles.
Having said that, I believe he is going to have a wait.
Seth conquered’The Beast’ Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam to regain the leading prize of Raw. Where’s it dropping on Sunday night?
Verdict: the Universal Championship is retained by Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins & Braun Strowman (c) v Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler (Raw tag-team names )
I’m calling this one about the presumption that it pre-empts Rollins and the Universal name showdown of Strowman.
With this lingering in the space, I can’t find out how they can co-exist. There’ll be a temptation on either side to inflict any harm on the other in advance.
Since joining forces, Ziggler and roode have been and I will see them snaring the straps that were red . Strowman and rollins will have other things on their minds.
Verdict: Ziggler and Roode win against the Raw titles
Kofi Kingston (c) v Randy Orton (WWE Championship)
Kofi’s been riding the crest of a wave among the WWE Universe, Considering taking the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. However, for me, that fire is beginning to cool.
I won’t be famous for saying this, but I do not feel he’s a winner also, to be honest, I am surprised he’s held the name for so long.
That I still don’t feel he is the guy to lead the way on SmackDown, although the Mania moment was only a benefit for his decades of support into the WWE.
Orton would not be my first choice to take over the mantle (Samoa Joe in case you’re wondering), but that I feel The Viper is about to start his own 14th reign as WWE champion.
Verdict: Randy Orton wins the WWE Championship
Bayley (c) v Charlotte (SmackDown Women’s Championship)
Her reunion with Sasha Banks has lit a spark in Bayley.
This previous week, she had been on a path to nowhere and had I ever been calling, I’d have believed the rubber match with the result. Now that door was thrown open.
I am able to see Charlotte being seen off by The Hugger here, albeit with hindrance from Banks.
Verdict: the SmackDown Women’s Championship is retained by Bayley
Becky Lynch (c) v Sasha Banks (Aged Women’s Championship)
Sasha has returned with a bang and with Bayley providing backup, I think she’ll take the belt from The Irish Lass Kicker on Sunday.
It will not be blank and it won’t be deserved, but The Boss is going to make a statement.
Verdict: the Championship of the Women is won by Sasha Banks
AJ Styles v Cedric Alexander (United States Championship)
This should be good.
Without being at the Universal name picture, AJ could maintain himself among the Raw elite. He has turned into a venomous heel Considering accepting the US name from Ricochet.
Alexander has remained land after producing his surprise return and his opportunity for the US name at Clash of Champions is listened for his ability.
It’s the makings of a high-flying timeless but I believe veteran instinct and AJ’s expertise will prove too much for Alexander to take care of.
Verdict: AJ Styles retains the United States Championship
Roman Reigns v Rowan (No DQ)
If this were one-on-one competition that is straight-forward , then I’d say Roman. But it’s not.
With the No DQ stipulation and the reality he has no area on the card, even Daniel Bryan has a role to perform . What that function will be is another matter.
I would say this is the moment to flip face again of actually the Bearded One, if I used to put my fries.
Verdict: Roman Reigns (together with the assist of Bryan)
Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross (c) v Fire & Desire (Women’s Tag Team Championship)
The pairing of Bliss and Cross has been an overwhelming success and propelled Nikki into a spot to the roster of the women.
They are gifted and their time will come, although mandy Rose and Sonya Deville nevertheless, have steadily plodded along without creating much of a impact because the retirement of Paige.
I can not see it being on Sunday.
Verdict: Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss retain Women’s Tag Team titles
Shinsuke Nakamura (c) v The Miz (Intercontinental Championship)
Quick question?
I’m not talking about that masquerading as the Intercontinental winner. I am speaking about The King of Strong Style. Arenas. Regard he won the Royal Rumble.
Seriously, I had to do a web search to learn who he beat to win the Intercontinental title in the first place – . He’s buried now and he has taken the IC belt with him.
The Miz isn’t actually liked by me for a face either – he was the bad guy. That saidhe is and could probably be a much better Intercontinental champion.
Verdict: The Miz wins the Intercontinental Championship
