Wales vs Croatia
European Qualifiers Group E
7:45pm Sunday 13th October
Cardiff City Stadium
Gareth Bale put his Real Madrid frustrations in a 1-1 draw with Croatia that keeps their Euro 2020 qualification hopes alive to net a equaliser for Wales to a single side.
Wales created a slow start in the Cardiff City Stadium on Sunday night and were lucky to be just 1-0 down as Nikola Vlasic opened the grading (9) but Bale, whos admitted he isnot playing happy at Madrid, scored a crucial leveller in the stroke of half-time (45+3).
They know wins away and at home to Hungary would be enough to get a place, so long as four points do not collect from their last 2 although the hosts might have pushed on for maximum points.
It means it is still all to play for in Group E. Fourth-placed Wales are just four things behind second-placed Hungary, but Ryan Giggs men have a match in hand.
Prior to shooting on Hungary in Cardiff three days in what looks likely for a winner-takes-all fixture in conditions of Euro 2020 eligibility afterwards wales travel to confront Azerbaijan on November 16.
Meanwhile, Croatia need only a point from their match against Slovakia to be eligible.
