Technician could return to ParisLongchamp for the Prix Royal-Oak on October 27 .
The Martyn colt bounced back from defeat in the William Hill St Leger to property the Group Two Prix Chaudenay.
Meades initial reaction was to put out Technician but the horse seems to have taken the race that the next trip to France – that time for a Group One assignment – might be on the cards.
I was very happy. I believe he put up a great performance. It showed he loved the ground and also relished the trip also, stated the Manton handler.
I really dont think he could have done it any better and the style in that he did it was really goodto throw down the opposition in the way he did.
He has come out of this race as good as ever – bucking and re – so thats always a wonderful sign.
My first reaction after he won was he would not run again, however there is yet another Group One back in Longchamp. We might consider it since he appears to be in such great form.
I despise over-running himbut hes never had that many starts overall, therefore I might think about it. It wasnt within my head, but the way he is looking at this time, Id have to examine it.
