Its a Battle of This Group I!
Scotland have their Nations League play-offs to fall back on, so its little surprise theyve been so bad during this effort, but anything aside from a huge win from San Marino will plain embarrassing.
Theres often little to mention in those previews, as the people really like to be given a good stuffing, but the 1 bit of value I discovered at the markets has been a San Marino +6 handicap at 5/6.
As I mentioned in my Sunday acca, though theyve lost 9-0 from Russia and Belgium (two sides that are light-years ahead of Scotland concerning quality), San Marino have not lost by a margin of more than five objectives in their five games against Kazakhstan, Cyprus and Scotland.
Contemplating the fact they have scored just five goals during this qualification campaign, and also that the Scots only beat San Marino 2-0 away from home, I do not think the margin of success will be massive.
Theres nothing to mention. Can the guys of Steve Clarke inspire themselves to well-and-truly place the visitors into the sword, although scotland are poor, San Marino are bad? I believe not. ??
