BIG MARLEY’S UFC FIGHT NIGHT 133 DRAFT KINGS FANTASY BREAKDOWN

This week, we have a 13-fight card at Boise, Idaho. It is headlined by Junior Dos Santos vs Blagoy Ivanov, that will be making his UFC debut. DraftKings has smaller contests for this card because it is just a Fight Night card with lesser known title, but there is still well over $100k to be won. I will be chasing my fair share of the money and I trust you guys will be . Here are a few plays I like this weekend along with my fade of the week.
Cash Game play of the week — Alexander Volkanovski ($9,200)
I think Volkanovski is the”safest” drama on this particular card along with his -300 gaming lineup would concur with me. That’s where I will be starting my lineup this week and I will figure out the rest from there. Volkanovski averages 116.5 DK points during his first four UFC fights so he has a whole lot of upside too. He could potential score over two other winners with this particular card combined. I really do think he’s in play for GPPs as well for this reason, but he will likely be the most peculiar owned fighter on the card and we don’t care about possession as much in money games. I would suggest paying up for the expensive price tag in your cash games and I then look for three or more others wins you’re confident in.
GPP drama of this week — Junior Dos Santos ($8,700)
JDS should be the way better striker in this fight and I believe this is where the battle will take place. He can get KO’d at the opening seconds of the battle and score 0 points, but that is what makes him a GPP play instead of a cash match play. With these two Heavyweights, we need to likely find a KO inside the 25-minues and I feel the former champion, JDS, will be the one to receive it. He has good takedown defense so he ought to be able to keep this fight on the feet where he will have a 4-inch achieve advantage to use.
Underdog drama of this week — Niko Price ($7,900)
Niko is going to be my underdog play of this week. The odds indicate that the fight ought to be fairly close and there’s a great chance he uses his wrestling to obtain the benefit. In 5 fights he hasn’t seen a decision however, and there’s a chance it stays that way if he receives Brown into the floor. Niko has some slick entrances in his arsenal along with a lot of heart. On the feet, Brown probably has the advantage with his achieve, but Cost does have any sneaky power also, which can’t be overlooked. All in all, I enjoy this as a GPP play.
Fade of the week — Alejandro Perez ($9,100)
Perez is the 2nd most expensive fighter on this card and he’s only $100 less expensive than Volkanovski. In my view, Perez will need a end to really have a shot at paying off that pricey salary and I don’t want to invest in that, personally. He’s never landed more than one takedown in a fight and Wineland has exceptional takedown defense, therefore we must see this battle take place on the toes. I think Perez should be the person to receive his hand raised in the end but I think that it’s going to be through decision. If that’s the case then he can score ~60 points in a win, and also at $9.1k that is not going to win anybody a tournament. I will be full fading Perez this week and hoping he does not get the finish and he is my official fade of this week.
