Outgoing England coach Trevor Bayliss says England captain Joe Root is under”no stress whatsoever” even failure to recover the Ashes from Australia.
Thursday’s fifth and final Ashes Test at The Oval would be Bayliss’ assignment as England head coach.
Australia retained the Ashes with a 185-run success but Bayliss doesn’t believe Root’s place is under threat.
“He’s not encounter question from anyone making any conclusions,” he said.

“But I am excited about getting home.”
Following success in the Test, Australia’s participants had been accused of mocking England spinner Jack Leach since Steve Smith had been seen wearing a pair of glasses.
Bayliss, but has ignored that as”fake information, like Donald Trump states”.
He added:”No-one has mentioned it spoken concerning it. It’s all talk out of you guys [the media].”
Australia trainer Justin Langer insisted Smith instead mimicked his country warehouse Chris Rogers.
“Experience tells me that when you’re doing well, people will try and pick holes from you,” Langer said.
“I understand the truth, Chris Rogers is a superb partner of the group, that is all it’s about. Folks are able to make up exactly things that they like about it now, but that’s the truth.”
